Use the form below to request a School Media Credential through the CHSAA office.
By submitting this media credential request, the school, through its appropriate liaison, is agreeing to the following regarding the issuance and use of the CHSAA Media/Photo Pass:
Member schools of the Colorado High School Activities Association request that the CHSAA Office issue all-activities credentials to working members of the media in covering their events. These credentials, issued each school year, entitle the bearer entry to all regular season, tournament and playoff events conducted by the CHSAA member school when providing written, broadcast or photographic coverage of the event.
The CHSAA has high expectations for any person(s) with a media credential. These expectations address the ethical and appropriate demands of a large and diverse membership.
The proper use and issuance of all CHSAA media passes is the responsibility of the school. When the school submits its credential request, that school is agreeing to the CHSAA School Employee Media/Photo Pass Policy. The school is required to agree/certify that:
Further the CHSAA membership has a right to expect bearer of the CHSAA Media Pass to exhibit professional behavior, respect student privacy, provide truth, accuracy, fairness and impartiality in his/her reporting, and accept accountability for his/her actions while covering CHSAA events.
No passes will be issued within 48 hours of an event. Please plan ahead!
Any media questions/concerns should be directed to Amanda McClure (amcclure@chsaa.org)
Please list the names of Reporters, Videographers and Photographers, with e-mail and .jpg photos. IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN TWO REQUESTS, THERE WILL BE A $100 CHARGE PER CREDENTIAL
Please note: the first two passes are issued free of charge. Any additional passes will cost $100 each. All passes must be named passes with photos of passholder included.
Our school hereby confirms that each individual associated with this request for a CHSAA School Media Credential has been thoroughly vetted. Our school certifies that none of these individuals have been convicted of any inappropriate behaviors or conduct that would disqualify them from working with or interacting with minors.
The proper use of all passes is the responsibility of the school. Unauthorized use of the pass will result in the revocation of current credentials and the non-issuance of future passes. These passes are to be used only by media members contracted through the school.
